Consent to Electronic Delivery of Disclosures

This Consent to Electronic Delivery of Disclosures (“Consent”) applies to your accounts, service agreements, and billing and other relationships (collectively, “Accounts”) with AT&T Mobility LLC, AT&T Services Inc., and their respective affiliates, and their successors and assigns (collectively, “AT&T,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Your Consent. By providing your email address or wireless telephone number and checking the box or clicking, tapping, or otherwise selecting the button next to or associated with the link to this Consent during your transaction with us today (your “Electronic Signature”), you consent to receive in electronic form all disclosures, installment plan and other agreements, billing statements, forms, notices, and other information and communications that we are required by law to provide to you in paper form (collectively, “Disclosures”), including via posting to our website or in your online account profile and by email or SMS text message. (Communications not required by law to be in writing are not subject to this Consent and instead are governed by the AT&T Consumer Service Agreement including Section 1.4 thereof.) Disclosures provided to you in electronic form have the same legal effect as paper documents. We will not mail or provide paper copies of Disclosures that were provided to you in electronic form unless you request paper copies. You do not have a right to receive Disclosures in paper form unless you withdraw your consent, and subject to possible consequences of withdrawal discussed below. Documents that we may provide to you electronically, which may include Disclosures, include, but are not limited to:

  1. This Consent;
  2. Agreements and contracts, including AT&T Installment Plan contracts and accompanying disclosures;
  3. Adverse action notices;
  4. Terms of Service and any amendments or updates;
  5. Billing statements and payment notices, including notices of varying AutoPay amounts;
  6. Privacy notices and policy updates;
  7. Rate and fee changes; and
  8. Dispute responses and other Account communications.

How We Deliver Disclosures Electronically. We will send Disclosures to the email address or wireless number on file for your Account. Certain Disclosures, such as Privacy Notice updates or minor terms changes, may be posted on our website at att.com (including the “Legal Policy Center” accessible from any page footer). Account status information, such as upgrade eligibility or past-due balances, may be displayed in your “myAT&T” online account profile. You may view, download, save, or print Disclosures at any time while they remain available.

Your Rights and Obligations. You have the following rights and obligations regarding electronic Disclosures:

  1. Right to Paper Copies. You have the right to receive a paper copy of any Disclosures that were sent to you in electronic form. You may request a paper copy of any Disclosure sent electronically by calling us at the numbers below. No fee is charged for paper copies.
  2. Right to Withdraw Consent. You may withdraw this Consent at any time, without charge, by calling us at the numbers below. Withdrawal will apply to future Disclosures only and will not affect any Disclosures previously provided or any transactions completed before withdrawal. However, please be aware that certain of our services are based on providing all information and communications to customers in electronic form, and therefore withdrawal of consent may result in termination of such services, including charging any termination fee or repayment of the outstanding balance of an installment agreement.
  3. Updating Your Information. You must keep your email address, wireless device number and any other contact information current. You may update your information in your myAT&T account profile or by calling us at the numbers below. If your email is invalid or undeliverable, we may treat your Account as having no email on file.
  4. Hardware and Software Requirements. To receive and retain electronic Disclosures, you need: (a) a functioning personal computer, tablet, smart phone and/or other electronic device that can process e-mail and SMS text messages (a “device”); (b) a connection to the Internet and e-mail and wireless accounts; (c) a current web browser (such as the current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge); (d) a current version of a software program that accurately reads and displays PDF files; (e) operating system software that will support the foregoing and (f) sufficient storage space and/or a printer connected to your device.

Our Rights. We reserve the right to provide any Disclosure in paper form at our discretion without waiving or cancelling this Consent. We may discontinue electronic Disclosures at any time. Unless otherwise specified, notices from you to us must be in writing and sent to the address provided on our website or your billing statement.

By your Electronic Signature, you confirm that: (a) you can access and read this Consent and other Disclosures as described above that will be provided to you electronically; (b) you have and will maintain the hardware and software described above; (c) you consent to receive Disclosures electronically; and (d) your consent remains in effect until you withdraw it in the manner described herein.
