Installation of the equipment associated with the service(s) you ordered (“Service”) may involve modifications to your location, including the installation of equipment mounted to the outside of your building. While these modifications are often minor, standard professional installation often includes drilling holes to run cable and attach the equipment securely to the outside of the building.
We want you to have a smooth installation experience, so if you don’t own the building where you intend to install the Service, we ask that you obtain your landlord’s approval before any installation. The terms of your lease/rental agreement may not allow this type of work or may require preapproval by your landlord. Landlord approval is often required with multi-tenant apartment buildings.
Before installation:
- Carefully review your lease agreement to determine if you have the right to make such modifications.
- If your landlord’s approval is required, please have your landlord or authorized representative complete SECTION 1 below and provide this signed form to the AT&T technician and provide an electronic signature at the time of installation.
- If the landlord verbally gives you permission, or if approval is not required pursuant to your lease or rental agreement, please complete SECTION 2 below and provide an electronic signature at the time of installation.
By providing this signed form and/or electronic signature to your professional installer, you are granting AT&T permission to install the Service and releasing AT&T from any obligation to remove equipment after installation. You also release AT&T and its affiliates from any liability related to landlord claims arising from installation.
If your landlord approves installation with special requirements that increase installation costs, additional charges may apply. Technical issues (e.g., poor line-of-sight, inadequate grounding) may still prevent installation; if so, payment will be refunded.
